Career Objectives

Education is essential for the foundation to grow and have successful members of society. I am excited to be able to be a part of that process to shape and guide the next generation into leadership. Clark County School District (CCSD) has so many fantastic students who are doing such wonderful things in the community. It is unfortunate that the news does not focus on these students. Working with student directly in the classroom is very rewarding. However, my goal is to not only work with students, but to also work with the adults on campus. Being a support for the teachers and staff in the classroom is vital to be able to provide the best learning environment for our students.  

 

I feel that with my background as being a supervisor at two major corporations along with my education allows me a different perspective when it comes to leadership. Public education is not treated in the same professional way as the private sector. I hope to help change that perspective. It is a nation wide problem, however; every little part helps. I hope to be able to be a mentor to upcoming leaders and provide the foundation as others have done for me. CCSD has a lot of fantastic teachers who want to support their schools and the district, but just need the guidance. I am looking forward to my continued work with CCSD to continue to learn and grow to provide the best experience for the students in Southern Nevada.
